Pediatric Physical Therapy for your Child's Development
Silas Tort Pic.JPG

Helping little ones move, grow and thrive is at the heart of Empowered by Birth. As a board-certified pediatric physical therapist — and a mom who understands the joys and challenges of development — I believe every child deserves the chance to build strength, confidence and healthy movement patterns at their own pace.

Through gentle, play-based therapy, children gain the skills they need to roll, crawl, walk and explore the world around them, while parents learn practical tools to continue progress at home. Each session blends expert care with encouragement and fun, so your child feels supported every step of the way.

When Your Child Might Benefit from Pediatric Physical Therapy

You don’t have to wait until concerns feel “big enough” to seek support. Early intervention can make a huge difference in helping your child move confidently and comfortably.

Here are some common signs your little one may benefit from physical therapy:

  • Head turn preference – consistently looking/turning to one side

  • Movement asymmetries – uneven patterns or posture

  • Delayed milestones – slower progress in rolling, sitting, crawling, walking

If you’ve noticed any of these (or just have a gut feeling something seems “off”), I’m here to help guide you and your child forward.
